5 Stages through the historic streets of Valletta, Malta
Get ready to Break the gate, Storm the Castille and more.
Stage 1
Boom Boom
A fast and furious sprint of 390 metres from the Saluting Battery, down through the fortification, across a medieval tower and under the medieval gate that skirts the Barbican on to the Rampart Walls then dropping down the staircase to De Gurial's Battery.
Stage 2
Break the gate
Also starting from the Saluting Battery, Stage 2 races 330 metres descending further into the bowels of the fort before bursting out through the Main Gate onto street level.
Stage 3
The Quarry
Starting at Castille, stage 3 races 440 metres down and finishes at Quarry Wharf.
Stage 4
Barrakkattakka
At 650 metres, this is the longest stage that starts at the City Gate and finishes at the Barrakka Lift (as featured in the promo video for the event).
Stage 5
Storm the Castille
The final stage races 390 metres down from Castille to Liesse.
